DESCRIPTION:Join docent Franklin Young to celebrate the Autumn Equinox when day and night are both 12 hours long. We will take a short hike from Pantoll to Rock Spring where\, weather permitting\, we will see the sun set. We’ll return in the dark on the updated Easy Grade trail. The hike is limited to 19. Please sign up through MeetUp and check that site for update and cancellation notices.. \nParking: Pantoll lot has a $8 fee(exact change or QR code). Please note that some nearby parking areas close after dark. \nMeeting Point: Friends of Mt Tam trailer at Pantoll \nTrails: Old Mine to Rock Spring and return by Easy Grade  \nDistance: under 3 miles about 550 ft of climbing \nMandatory: Headlamp or flashlight \nRecommended:  poles\, sturdy shoes\, water
