The Plankwalk Trail from the East Peak Visitor Center to the summit is 0.6 miles round trip with about 225 feet of elevation gain. The Verna Dunshee loop trail at East Peak is 0.7 miles long with minimal elevation changes.\n\n\nPreparation: Participants should wear sturdy shoes suitable for hiking and dress in layers.
