Thursday Sep 24th: Autumn Equinox hike from Pantoll at 6PM

Join docent Franklin Young to celebrate the Autumn Equinox when day and night are both 12 hours long. We will take a short hike from Pantoll to Rock Spring where, weather permitting, we will see the sun set. We’ll return in the dark on the updated Easy Grade trail. The hike is limited to 19. Parking: Pantoll lot has a $8 fee(exact change or QR code). Please note that some nearby parking areas close after dark.
Meeting Point: Friends of Mt Tam trailer at Pantoll
Trails: Old Mine to Rock Spring and return by Easy Grade
Distance: under 3 miles about 550 ft of climbing
Mandatory: Headlamp or flashlight
Recommended: poles, sturdy shoes, water
