Saturday April 18th: Forest to Sea from White Gate

Guided hike with Docent Debra Hoitomt
The hike climbs through the Redwood Forests along the lovely Webb Creek to Pantoll, and take a relaxed pace down Matt Davis to Stinson Beach. 8 miles / 1700 feet elevation gain. This hike is rated “difficult” (7+ miles / 1500+ feet) per FMT guidelines.
Meet: Whitegate Ranch Trailhead on Panorama Highway (approx gps 37.892139, -122.624366)
Parking: Parking on the south side of Panorama or left side of road when you go from Pantoll to Stinson Beach
Trails: Dipsea, Steep Ravine, Matt Davis, back to Dipsea
Pace: Moderate but steady
Brief breaks: At trail junctions for adjusting layers, water, catching up; rest stops at Pantoll and Stinson Beach with time for snacks
Recommended: water, sturdy shoes, hiking poles, snacks, layers
